Welcome to Latte Notes

By using Latte Notes (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Latte Notes Is

Latte Notes is a platform for sharing anonymous café moments. Users can post short notes about their café experiences, view others' notes on a map, and purchase merchandise featuring community notes.

Content Guidelines

When submitting notes, you agree NOT to post:

• Hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Explicit sexual content
• Personal information (yours or others')
• Spam, advertisements, or promotional content
• Links, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Content that infringes on others' rights
• Illegal content

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without notice.

Your Content

By submitting a note, you:

• Grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your note on the Service and merchandise
• Confirm the content is your original work or you have the right to share it
• Understand that notes are public and anonymous—we cannot “take back” a note once it's been seen
• Accept that your note may appear on merchandise purchased by others

Merchandise & Orders

When purchasing merchandise:

• Prices are in USD and include applicable taxes at checkout
• Orders are fulfilled by Printful, a third-party print-on-demand service
• Shipping times vary by location (typically 5-15 business days)
• We are not responsible for customs fees or import duties

Refunds & Returns

Due to the custom nature of our merchandise (each hoodie features unique user-selected notes):

• Damaged or defective items: Contact us within 14 days with photos. We'll replace or refund at our discretion.
• Wrong size/color: We cannot offer exchanges for size preference, but contact us if you received the wrong item.
• Change of mind: Not eligible for refund due to custom printing.

Reporting Content

If you see a note that violates our guidelines, use the report button on the note. We review reports and take action as needed. Abuse of the report system may result in rate limiting.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Latte Notes available, but we don't guarantee uptime. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latte Notes and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: content posted by other users, merchandise quality issues handled by our fulfillment partner, or service interruptions.

Intellectual Property

The Latte Notes name, logo, and website design are our property. User-submitted notes remain the intellectual property of their authors, with the license granted above.

Account Termination

While we don't have traditional accounts, we may block IP addresses or take other measures against users who violate these terms or abuse the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated on the site.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
